Hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious. Location was very convenient to I-5. Recommend a higher level room on the backside a main street is noisy. Within walking distance to many places to eat and Laundromat.

Hotel room was awesome! It looked just like the pictures online. Staff super friendly and helpful. They offered free snacks and an awesome breakfast in their lounge area. Will definitely stay again the next time we visit San Diego

What a great price for a great hotel!
I found Hercor online and the price was too good to be true. I booked it immediately. I was not disappointed! The hotel was small but very upscale in the decor and room design. Modern light fixtures and furnishings make the room pleasing to the eye. The beds were comfortable and fresh. The bathroom was beautiful! My favorite part is the attention to detail. The rooms have a wine opener and wine glasses, a vanity, and ear plugs for a quieter nights sleep. There is fresh fruit available in the lobby and the kitchen area is always open with coffee, tea, and water available and snacks like cookies and pastries. The vending machine has inexpensive snacks and drinks as well. The hotel is close to the highway, A bus stop, and train station. I will definitely stay in this hotel again! The only drawback to our room was that it was on the corner near the breakfast area and we could hear the foot traffic.

Very pleased with the rooms and service:) near the mall and restaurants. Near the border with Mexico. Easy acces to different things to do. Best part was the breakfast and the stuff members very friendly:) Stayed May 2015, traveled with family

This little hotel has it all! It is very convenient, easy to get to, and has quality service. Parking space is available, shower is awesome! and breakfast is great! This is the second time I stay at this Hotel and I wouldn't doubt to come again. Great Job Oscar with that Breakfast bar!

Wonderful stay
I visited California in May 2015, I rented a car and drove along the coast, I decided to stay in Hercor Hotel when I was visiting San Diego and its surrounding. The hotel was beautiful and at a convenient location- not far from San Diego and/or the Mexican Boarder. The night staff was friendly and the breakfast served was tasty. As a bonus, right across the street, there is a great Mexican restaurant!

Great stay
The room was nice and clean. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was a secure gated parking lot for your vehicle which was nice. Only a 15 min trip to downtown SD. Stayed June 2015, traveled with friends

I experience at the hotel has been a great one. I came for my birthday weekend and me my mom and my son have been having an awesome time. We enjoyed breakfast and the ease of getting to the hotel. Great location and amenities

Great little gem!
I would definitely return here! The service was great, and they think of all the little extras that other hotels do not. From free fruit and bottled water, contemporary decor, large bathroom with organic toiletries, in-room safe, free parking, generous breakfast and longer breakfast hours. The beds are comfy, there's a big TV, and the location is near transit and a major mall. I was hoping this would be a chain so I could find Hercor Hotels again, but it's only the one location. Give it a try!

Fantastic!
Great hotel! Front desk attendant was friendly and helpful! The continental breakfast is generous and clean. The rooms are high quality and very clean. All of the staff is super friendly. Great location as it is just a couple of blocks off the interstate. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!

The beds at Hercor were probably the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on. The rooms were very clean and the staff were extremely nice. Would wholeheartedly recommend Hercor hotel to anyone!!!!

Brilliant hotel !
Excellent hotel. Beautiful rooms. Stunning bathroom. Real luxury. Not too far from San Diego downtown ( 12 minute drive). Walking distance to huge shopping mall with everything. Few streets away is a lovely market. Walmart 2km away. Great location. Lovely breakfast. Stay here - you won't regret it

I found this place searching online and i liked the way it looked. It looked modern and gave me a good feeling. They were booked for the weekend so i wasnt able to stay through sunday but i booked it for thursday and was able to stay friday night as well. They were so accomodating and so nice. First class service for sure. Really made me feel important and taken care of.
